More than 1000 downloads in 3 days

Since the release of LinRails on July 3rd people have downloaded it more than 1000 times. Next release will include ImageMagick support. I will also include Apache with Mongrel, nginx with Mongrel, and Lighttpd with FastCGI support. If you have any suggestions before the next release please let me know.

We are releasing our first version of LinRails. This version should only be used for developing applications. It is not meant to use in production since it doesnt include a webserver. We were debating what webserver to include between Apache, Lighttpd, and nginx. We like Lighttpd but apparently it causes problems with Mongrel. For right now you can use WEBrick to do your development. This version has Ruby-1.8.6, Rubygems-0.9.4, Rails 1.2.3, Mongrel 1.0.1, MySQL-5.0.41, ncurses-5.6, OpenSSL-0.9.8e, zlib-1.2.3. If you would like us to include a specific server or tools such as Subversion let us know.

This released was only tested on Ubuntu feisty 32-bit. Let us know if you try it in another Linux distribution. You can download it from here.
